Overview: Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies that align with project goals and timelines
• Define the scope and objectives of testing activities, ensuring all functional and non-functional requirements are covered
• Identify testing tools and technologies to be used in the project and ensure their effective implementation
• Lead and manage a team of testers, providing guidance, support and mentorship
• Allocate resources and assign tasks to team members based on their skills and project requirements
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
• Oversee the execution of test cases, ensuring thorough testing of software applications
• Monitor and track testing progress, identifying any deviations from the plan and taking corrective actions as necessary
• Ensure that defects are logged, tracked and resolved in a timely manner
• Maintain detailed documentation of testing activities, including test plans, test cases and test results
• Prepare and deliver regular status reports to project stakeholders, highlighting key findings and risks
• Document lessons learned and contribute to the development of testing best practices
• Work closely with business, IT and project management teams to understand requirements and ensure alignment
• Engage with stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and address any concerns
• Facilitate communication between testing teams and other project teams to ensure seamless integration

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with SAP is a must
• English as is the program language it's a must at full proficiency level (oral & written), Spanish is a plus
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools and best practices
• Experience with various testing types (functional, non-functional, regression, performance, etc.)
• Proficiency in using testing tools (e.g., JIRA) and test automation frameworks
• Proven experience in leading and managing testing teams
• Strong project management skills, including planning, execution and monitoring
• Ability to mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Excellent analytical skills to identify issues and determine their root causes
• Strong problem-solving abilities to address and resolve testing-related challenges
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
