• 3-5 years of experience in workforce scheduling, preferably in a live operations or shift-based work environment (e.g., gaming, hospitality, call centres).
• Experience in staff management and workforce planning with an understanding of operational demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with scheduling software and workforce management tools. Daily Shift Management:
• Execute daily staffing schedules, ensuring all shifts are covered based on the business needs of live casino operations.
• Monitor and adjust staffing in real-time, addressing last-minute changes such as sick calls, late arrivals, or unexpected operational demands.
• Maintain a consistent communication flow with the Staff Scheduling Manager and other department heads to ensure seamless shift coverage.

Shift Adjustment and Conflict Resolution:

• Manage shift swaps, schedule adjustments, and last-minute staff changes, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Address scheduling conflicts by reallocating staff or coordinating with team leads for adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and labour regulations when making any schedule changes (e.g., overtime, breaks, etc.).

Staff Communication and Support:

• Communicate assigned shifts and changes to staff promptly, ensuring that all employees are aware of their work schedules.
• Assist employees with scheduling-related queries, such as shift preferences, time-off requests, and schedule updates.
• Act as a point of contact for staff during their shifts, providing assistance with any immediate issues or changes that may arise.

Data Entry and Tracking:

• Accurately enter and maintain employee schedules using workforce management tools and scheduling software.
• Track attendance, punctuality, and shift coverage, ensuring accurate records for payroll and compliance purposes.
• Update records to reflect staff absences, shift changes, or attendance issues in real time.

Compliance Monitoring:

• Ensure that shifts comply with labour laws, company policies, and employee contracts, particularly concerning working hours, breaks, and overtime limits.
• Monitor employee working hours to prevent over-scheduling or violations of legal work-hour restrictions.

Collaboration with Operations and HR:

• Work closely with the Staff Scheduling Manager and HR team to manage vacation requests, leaves of absence, and other time-off requests.
• Coordinate with operations teams to ensure that shift staffing aligns with the needs of specific live casino games, technical teams, and support staff.

Reporting and Feedback:

• Provide daily or shift-based reports to the Staff Scheduling Manager on any issues encountered during shifts, such as absences, overstaffing, or performance concerns.
• Gather and provide feedback from staff about the scheduling process, helping to identify areas for improvement.

Continuous Improvement:

• Suggest ways to improve scheduling processes, including technology, communication, and flexibility, based on observations and staff feedback.
• Assist in the implementation of new tools, techniques, or processes to enhance the efficiency of shift staffing and scheduling.
