Team Leader IT Infrastructure

- Responsible for setting the strategy of the IT Infrastructure, responsible for building and maintaining the current state in detail and the design future plans for the IT infrastructure, in relation to the needed functionalities and business capabilities.
- Coordinate the Infrastructure Team – System Administrators, Network Engineers, Cloud Specialists, AS400 Administrators and Database Administrators
- Coordinate daily infrastructure activities, set priorities and balance the workload within the team.
- Evaluate team activities, provide feedback and organize performance meetings.
- Set the training plan for each of the colleagues in the team
- Pro-actively seeking for areas of improvements in processes and proposing & implementing corresponding action plans, policies & procedures, within the pre-agreed quality and deadlines terms.
- Setting SMART goals for each team member.
- Prepare the activity reports as required by the line manager.
- Develop action plans, coaching and mentoring team members, developing talent, organizing career path meetings with team members.
- Determines the direction and priorities for individuals and for the team; assigns clear responsibilities and performance expectations.
- Complies with the goals and KPIs set by the line manager.
- Manage IT Infrastructure service catalog (including SLA)
- Responsible for delivering the projects assigned to IT Infrastructure
- Performs capacity management and resource allocation
- Responsible for the disaster recovery plan and its periodic testing
- Communicate regularly with all stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with minimum security standards of operating systems.
- Monitoring infrastructure status and tracking necessary steps to fix problems.
- Actively participating in audits and providing the necessary records within deadlines.
- Leading the creation of RFIs for infrastructure solutions
- Acting as an escalation point for problems within the team.
- Creating business cases for implementing or modifying solutions.
- Assertiveness – Clearly communicating actions that will need to be taken.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills throughout the organization.
- Ability to present and support points of view.
- Providing constant feedback to teammates.
- Creating a free communication environment that supports effective collaboration of colleagues1.
- At least 5 years experience in a similar position
- ITIL Foundation Level (or higher) Certified desired
- A working knowledge of the following technologies: VMWare, Windows Server, IIS, MS SQL, DNS, DHCP, MS Exchange, HP Servers, WSUS, SCCM, Linux, Azure Cloud, backup solutions
- Experience in Project Management
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English - Advanced.
