We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to join our Logistics Team. You will be responsible for preparing and managing shipping documentation, ensuring document accuracy, coordinating with forwarders for timely shipments, and acting as the key liaison for shipping enquiries. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage high volumes of shipments in a fast-paced environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage large volumes of shipping documentation (Invoice, Packing List, Delivery Orders, Airway Bills) to meet daily shipping schedules.
- Ensure all shipping documents are accurate, complete, and compliant with industry regulations and company standards.
- Coordinate import documentation with forwarders to facilitate timely transportation to the warehouse.
- Act as the main point of contact for shipping enquiries, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Perform operational management reports.
- Minimum Diploma in Logistics Management or a related discipline.
- At least 1 year of experience in handling import/export shipping documentation.
- Knowledge of standard shipping documentation and terminology is an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, and Outlook).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Team player with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced environment and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Location: West region.
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm; Saturday on a rotational duty from 8:00am to 2:00pm.
- Team: You will be part of a 4-member Shipping Team within the Logistics Department.
- OT may be required during high-volume days (Monday, Friday, or the day after Public Holidays).
- 100% work at an air-conditioned warehouse; no hybrid work arrangement.
