Academic Navigator (Lecturer): Digital Design Technology (Part Time)

The IIE’s Vega, Cape Town Campus has a vacancy for a Part-Time Academic Navigator (Lecturer) for the second semester in the following module:
- Digital Design Technology 3A
- Lecture based on provided content, ensure students are guided and supported in their learning. Mark student submissions and engage with campus teaching and learning.
- Prepare for lectures based on provided content. Supplement content with own expertise. Deliver assigned modules to the stated outcomes and contracted hours. Mark student assessments and provide constructive feedback. Support student academic success by implementing workshops where needed. Perform academic admin, such as capturing assessment marks and reporting on student success. Provide content feedback. Engage with professional development opportunities and attend initial training sessions.
Ideal:
- Honours or Masters in Multimedia, or Digital or Interaction Design
- BA Hons or Masters in a cognate field with extensive knowledge and experience of web and mobile front-end development, including Html5, Object Oriented CSS3, Java Script, Jquery
- At least 3 years industry experience in web and mobile front-end design and development, including Html5, CSS3, Java Script, Jquery and IDE's such as React for mobile app design.
