We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Representative to join our team. This role will play a crucial part in expanding our market presence, driving revenue growth, and establishing lasting relationships with clients.
Role Summary
As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for prospecting, generating leads, and following up on opportunities to drive revenue for Solucru. You will also represent Solucru at South African and potentially international trade shows and events. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a knack for building strong client relationships.
Compensation
  • Base Salary: R20,000 per month.
  • Performance-Based Increase: Upon generating the first R35,000 of monthly revenue, base salary increases to R35,000 per month.
  • Commission Structure: After generating the initial R35,000 of monthly revenue, earn 10% commission on all additional revenue.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and generate new business leads through various channels.
  • Follow up with leads in a timely manner, nurturing relationships to convert leads into sales.
  • Represent Solucru at trade shows and events within the SA and potentially internationally.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Solucru’s product offerings and market position.
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing and sales teams to align strategies and messaging.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals and pitches to potential clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM software.
  • Achieve and consistently exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and lead generation.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel within South Africa and potentially internationally.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Google Workspace Suite.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
