Data Scientist

IQbusiness, a leading independent management consulting firm, is looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join our Advanced Analytics Capability. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in predictive analytics and will provide analytical insights across various industries. This role involves utilizing analytical skills to develop and implement analytical solutions that drive data-informed decision-making for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and optimize advanced analytics models to meet client needs in various industries.
Utilize predictive and unsupervised analytics techniques, including forecasting, segmentation, clustering, and association analysis, to derive insights from data.
Conduct data mining, cleaning, and analysis using programming skills in Python, SAS, SQL, VBA, and R.
Compile comprehensive documentation for model development and business requirements.
Create Management Information Systems (MIS) dashboards that provide advanced insights into key performance indicators (KPIs).
Monitor model performance and develop solutions to enhance existing models.
Communicate findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, preparing presentations and reports as needed.

Qualifications:

Completed degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
Over 5 years of experience in analytics in any industry.
Proficiency in Python, with experience in forecasting techniques, segmentation, cohort analysis, regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and estimation/correlation analysis.
Competency in using SAS, SQL, and VBA; familiarity with R is also considered an advantage.

Knowledge Requirements:

Strong understanding of analytics methodologies, statistical analysis, and data visualization techniques.
Familiarity with data mining and statistical modeling practices.
Understanding of general business processes and the ability to apply analytical insights across various sectors.
