Job Specification
Reporting to the Business Support Manager, the incumbent would be responsible for a management accounting function which may include planning, budgets and forecasts, interpreting financial results, monitoring cash flow, capital expenditure programmes, management reporting systems development, special investigations/reports, operating efficiency studies, feasibility studies and investment portfolios. This post is a shared service between our Bellville (Agriplas) site as well as Brackenfell (Tego) site.
Minimum Requirements
- B Degree (BCom or CIMA)
- 4 years related experience in a Management Accounting or related position
- Advanced Excel / Data Analysis skills (VBA, Advanced Pivots, Financial Modelling etc.)
- Highly operations and system orientated with strong analytical and financial acumen
- Exposure to a manufacturing environment would be highly advantageous for your application

- Responsible for day-to-day financial controls as well as supporting the Finance Manager to provide ad hoc decision support to executive management
- Drive efficiencies and system improvements and provide timely and accurate reporting and service to all stakeholders
- Engaging and maintaining productive and value adding relationships with customers as well as internal and external stakeholders whilst influencing best fit solutions
- Analyse and report financial performance against budget & PY
- Assist with compilation of daily/weekly/monthly reports to relevant stakeholders
- Assist with compilation of annual branch & capital budgets
- Month end related tasks such as journals, reconciliations etc.
- Review pricing strategies for different product categories and take ownership of pricelist process
- Daily internal stakeholder support
- Ensure implementation and application of practices, policies, standards, procedures, and methods
- Initiate continuous improvement (Innovation)
- Leading high impact team and ensuring efficient use of manpower
- Maintaining costs and ensure, safe, reliable, efficient functional resources linked to people
- Automation of processes and integration of manufacturing and financial data
- Take ownership of ERP management from a business perspective to ensure requirements of all users are adequately addressed
