Job Specification
Reporting to the Senior Manager Silos and Seed, the incumbent would be responsible to manage, co-ordinate, motivate and supervise the operational activities of the Depot. Responsible for the distribution of products, ensuring that all customers receive efficient, timeous deliveries of products/goods.
Minimum Requirements
- National Diploma (Silo Operations or related)
- Grading certificates for winter grain, maize and canola, as well as a certificate in grain fumigation
- 4 years related experience
- Excellent MS Office skills
- Mechanical aptitude and experience in grain procurement will strengthen your application

- The reception, grading and dispatch of grain products and oilseeds
- Daily control and management of grain stocks, finances, administration, and personnel
- Assist with grain procurement
- Silo maintenance which includes routine inspections
- Application of occupational, health and food safety standards
- Building trusting relations and inspire relations amongst the internal and external stakeholders
- Initiate continuous improvement (Innovation)
