DEPARTMENT OF POLITICAL SCIENCE AND INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS
The Department of Political Science and International Relations at the University of Fort Hare’s Alice campus seeks to appoint a self-driven Postdoctoral research fellow with a strong background in research on peace and conflict studies in sub-Saharan Africa.
- Doctoral degree not older than 5 years in Political Science, International Relations, or any related discipline.
- Preference will be given to South African Citizens, women in particular, and holders of a South African Permanent Residence permit.
- The appointment is for a period of 12 months and may be renewed subject to the production of at least 2 Units in DHET-accredited journals.
- The annual stipend is R300,000 non-taxable and payable in four equal
- Demonstrable ability to contribute to building the research profile of the

VALUE OF THE FELLOWSHIP:
The value of the fellowship is R300 000 per annum, paid in four equal instalments.
