GC Corporation was founded in 1921 in Japan and has developed itself into one of the most prominent companies in the development, production and distribution of a very wide range of dental products. Since 1972 GC Europe NV, our European Headquarter is located at the Researchpark Haasrode in Leuven. GC Europe NV supports and leads our different sales offices and dealers. Our warehouse spreads our products to Europe and the Middle East. Next to this we produce some leading products for dental technicians.
We are currently looking for a:
As our Product Specialist, you will maintain and generate sales to dental practices and dental laboratories.

We are currently looking for a:
Product Specialist
in the area of ‘South Africa South’, including Coastal Territory, Cape Town and Kwa Zulu-Natal’
Purpose of the job
Main responsibilities
- To develop GC's high quality product range attracting new business through customer liaison, using dealer relationships, product presentations to dental professionals and presentations to dental groups and societies. This is whilst supporting existing GC customers with sales and technical advice.
- Selling portfolio of GC products into both; Dental Surgeries and Laboratories, Dental Institutions and Teaching facilities
- Identifying new business opportunity in existing customers to expand the range of GC Products being purchased
- Identifying new business opportunities by prospecting in new customers with little or no history of using the GC product range
- Identifying developing and maintaining Corporate and Group Practice’s within the given territory to increase revenue in the GC product portfolio
- Identify and develop KOL’s within the given territory to enhance and develop GC’s Brand awareness in various product segments
- Co-travel and Networking with Key Dealer partners of GC products offering training and support to drive forward product sales
- Sourcing and delivering Educational events on the given territory to result in increasing product sales
Requirements
- Working knowledge of dental industry services and products
- A proven sales track record would be an advantage.
- Sound area management skills
- Applicants need to be enthusiastic and self-motivated
