Your mission

• Development of Renewable Energy projects (Solar, Wind, BESS and Hybrid Projects) throughout South Africa.
• Identification and evaluation of new project opportunities – greenfield and acquisition
• Contribute to strategic planning of project pipeline
• Representing the company towards landowners, authorities, partners, local communities and key stakeholders
• Support offtake development & PPA discussions
• Management of project budgets
• Management of external consultants appointed to assigned projects

Your profile

• Must have (minimum 2 years) experience in Renewable Energy project development
• A good understanding of the full project development cycle, including technical, commercial, and regulatory requirements of Renewable projects
• Self-driven, motivated, hands-on mentality and be well organised.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively, nationally & internationally
• Great written and oral communication skills and be comfortable presenting
• Be able to use Microsoft (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT) and common project management tools
• Experience with GIS
• Tertiary education in a technical or commercial field
• Business fluent in English, additional South African languages are a plus
