Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute innovative sales strategies to surpass revenue targets.
- Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings to refine approaches.
- Identify new business opportunities to support market expansion and build strategic partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Deeply understand client requirements and offer tailored solutions to enhance their success.
- Negotiate contracts that maximise profitability while ensuring client satisfaction.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective clients through proactive engagement.
- Drive lead generation via networking, cold calling, attending industry events, and using digital platforms.
- Convert leads into lasting business relationships through effective client management.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales team to meet ambitious targets.
- Provide training and support to ensure the team has the necessary tools and knowledge for success.
- Set clear performance goals, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback to drive team success.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging opportunities.
- Analyse customer feedback and market trends to continually refine sales strategies.
- Monitor competitors and adjust strategies to maintain a competitive advantage.
- Prepare comprehensive sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management.
- Use data analytics to drive informed decision-making and improve sales performance.
- Track key sales metrics to ensure targets are consistently achieved.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA advantageous).
- A minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in sales or business development roles.
- Strong leadership and management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead a sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of sales metrics and data analysis techniques.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Results-driven, with the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant industry experience will be highly advantageous.
- A strong network of industry contacts that can be leveraged for business growth.
- Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and e-commerce platforms is a plus.
- Experience in international sales or expansion strategies will be beneficial.
