ABOUT HEALTHFORCE

Healthforce exists to enable high quality, affordable healthcare. We do this by making tech products. At the moment, we have three:

  • Brix Pharmacy
In partnership with Dis-Chem, we are building a dispensing system that will connect pharmacists with other parts of the health system. It’s not yet in production, so you will have the opportunity to work on the launch. The scope is epic: millions of transactions per week, in 500+ pharmacies across Southern Africa, deeply integrated, and processing health data on a national scale. If you love big, complex systems, keep reading.

  • Healthforce Clinic (this is where you will work)
A patient management and telemedicine app that enables nurses in 500+ pharmacy clinics across South Africa to do video calls with doctors for advice, prescriptions and sick notes. This brings private healthcare to millions who normally can’t afford it.

  • Kena
An Android and i OS app that enables anyone in South Africa to video call a nurse, doctor or mental health professional for only R185. Winner of the MTN app of the year.

Healthforce is a lean, low ego, highly skilled team that includes clinical professionals like doctors and pharmacists, and tech professionals like engineers, designers, and data analysts. We design from customer needs and have systems in place to receive continuous feedback from our customers. We highly value learning and collaboration. We use modern processes and tools: Miro, Slack, GSuite, Github.
