This position reports to
Local Business Area Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a global or local business leader. Each day, you will be responsible for commercial sales and marketing activities and portfolio management. You will also showcase your expertise by maintaining research and development oversight. The work model for the role is: #hybrid This role is contributing to the Motion System Drives in South Korea. You will be mainly accountable for: • Defining a go-to-market model and segment strategy for the assigned Business Organization and aligning them with the operational/execution path. • Ensuring the integrated commercial success of the organization to drive business growth and market share, enabling the organization to achieve its short, mid, and long-term performance and growth objectives within the assigned geographical scope. • Driving appropriate cost structure, productivity optimization, and capital efficiency with special focus areas such as profitability, costing/hourly rates, over/under-absorption analysis, demand analysis, go-to-market, cost-to-serve. • Optimizing all commercial costs (PEX of sales forces, call centers, after-sale, commissions of channel partners, and distributors, if applicable).Qualifications for the role
- Over 10 years of experience in sales and marketing or engineering in Motors/Drives industry
- Technical background and understanding of Motors and Drives
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical engineering or a similar field
- Over 5 years of people managing experiences
- Strong communication skill in Korean and English
