Production Manager

Description of the role:
As a hardware production manager based in Korea, you will lead the communication and day-to-day delivery performance of our first—and second-tier component suppliers in South Korea, especially with our contract manufacturer. This will include managing the CTB (Clear to Build) process with our Contract Manufacturer or each batch of products, ensuring that materials arrive.
The hardware production manager will report to the Operations team (Korea). You will provide weekly production quantity, yield, and line stability inputs for our S&OP process. There will be a requirement to coordinate stock transfers from the factory to 3PL, working with the logistics team to drive down the cost per unit movements on all SKUs.
The hardware production manager will be comfortable working in a dynamic supply chain environment.
This is an exciting moment of growth for the company, and this role will significantly contribute to expanding our existing and future product lines.
What you’ll do:
  • Monitor production performance by gathering data and producing statistical reports.
  • Update and maintain systematic manufacturing databases (Inventory, Serial Numbers)
  • Be open to support & assist across various areas in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manage inventory levels, production schedules, and product shipments.
  • Communicate production processes and status with the Operations team.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with manufacturing partners and key suppliers.
  • Coordinate stock transfers from the factory to 3PL, working with the logistics team to reduce the cost per unit movements on all SKUs.
  • Coordinate sample shipments to the team's requested destination.
What you’ll need:
  • Proven hardware production manager experience
  • An understanding of the materials drive process and how to navigate and manage shortages in supply.
  • A good command of English and Korean, both spoken and written
  • Exceptional time management skills to support various requests and projects across the business.
  • Understanding Bill of Material Structures and how component controls relate to product builds.
  • A broad understanding of key manufacturing KPIs, yield, line stability, AQL, and how to track these effectively
Bonus points:
  • An understanding of how ERP systems work at a basic level
  • Full drivers license
