Purpose of the position
The candidate will lead BD SM marketing, sales and application team in order to meet business objectives financially and strategically. The candidate will be responsible for SM revenue target including profitability. Ultimate objective is to maximize business output for sustainable and profitable business growth through developing business strategy and executing the plans with effective collaborations with cross functional teams. The candidate will also need to be able to manage and collaborate with major distributors to identify growth opportunities and to achieve growth targets.
Responsibilities
- Lead the team to identify growth opportunities and set up revenue target
- Define business objectives for the team, and Manage BD SM sales team and distributors’ sales team to develop strategy and action plan to achieve revenue and profitability target.
- Lead marketing and application team to develop marketing and clinical training plan that supports the business objectives and growth target In charge of key strategic initiatives and conduct hands-on works, e.g. go-to-market expansion Sales forecast of monthly/quarterly/yearly by effective pipeline & opportunity management systems or tools such as Sales Force.Com(SFDC), etc
- Lead various sales, marketing and application activities Managing the customers including opinion leaders & business partners Acquire product knowledge to be able to promote BD SM products in highly professional manner
- Manage Account manager(Sales representative) to achieve his/her individual goals Maintain/Build good relationship with Key Thought Leader(KTL) groups
- Coordinate business work process across SM segment including country and regional stakeholders, and also shared functions such as SCM, FP&A, etc
- Submit all required reports(daily/weekly/monthly) Manage his/her own expenses Develop peoples (direct reports)
Accountabilities
- Achieve key business objectives – revenue and profit
- Submit all required reports, plans and handle correspondence on time
- Achieve company goals and action plans established for the department
- Abide by BD’s ethical code and high moral standard
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Science, Pathology, Hematology, Immunology preferred
- Over 12 years of working experience in sales or marketing in related field Experience in Solution selling (not product selling) preferred
- Excellent product knowledge and expertise related to BD SM preferred, e.g. Analyzer company, chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and special testing area;
- Strong strategic planning skills Strong growth mind-set, learning agility, positive thinking and can-do attitude
- Presentation skills
- Fluent English & Korean in writing and speaking preferred.
- Good level of competency in computer skills including MS office.
