Senior Risk Analyst, AIG Korea

Make your mark in Enterprise Risk Management
AIG underwriting teams help to find insurance solutions in areas including Financial Lines, Property, Casualty, Specialty Lines, Cyber, Multinational Clients, and High Net Worth individuals. We are reimagining how we help customers to manage risk, transforming our operating model, and reshaping our role responsibilities and career pathways. How you will create an impact
Provide risk review for business initiatives, products and investment.
Monitor risks against relevant risk appetite, tolerances and limits with the use of key risk indicators and stress testing.
Assist in the drafting of the ORSA Report and the collection/production of underlying data, information and analyses.
Provide the Korea Risk & Capital Committee with risk reporting and secretarial support.
Review and update risk documents, including risk appetite statement, reinsurance strategy, risk policies and top risk register.
Assist the CRO in risk reviews, regulatory submissions (e.g. RAAS qualitative self-assessment, review of reinsurance adequacy) and other tasks when the need arises.
Conduct risk assessments and other tasks as required by regulations. Ensure the entity is ready to comply with new risk-related regulations.
Promote and provide guidance on the reporting of risk events and ensure remediation actions are adequate, monitored and seen through to completion. Nurture a risk culture that encourages transparency and openness.
Participate in wider APAC ERM initiatives.
What you’ll need to succeed
Undergraduate degree in one of the following disciplines: Actuarial, Risk, Accounting, Finance, Law, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering.
Ideally 5+ years of experience working in a Risk, Compliance, Legal, Strategy, Audit, Finance or Actuarial function in financial services.
Experience of regulatory engagement is a plus.
Fluency in written and spoken English and Korean
Communication and relationship management skills
Analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently.
Microsoft Excel / risk modelling skill.
