About the position
As our Global Sponsorships Manager, you will be responsible for leading, planning, and coordinating the execution of all our global sponsorships from start to finish. You will foster and steer effective collaboration across all teams to reach the defined objectives.
Further, you will be responsible for setting up the processes, guidelines, and assets needed to execute all local sponsorships in alignment with our overall marketing strategy.
Since our Global Sponsorships Manager is going on parental leave, we are looking for someone who can join our team as soon as February 17th, 2025, and work with us one year moving forward.
Job responsibilities

• Review terms and liaise with partners to define and set up the tasks to execute a successful sponsorship.

• Define team members, set responsibilities, and establish a follow-up procedure to ensure timely execution of the agreed-upon strategy for each sponsorship.

• Handle and oversee budgeting, invoicing, and logistics - ensuring overall adherence.

• Liaising and negotiating with partners, vendors, and suppliers.

• Oversee and set up processes for creating and delivering partnership material, such as delivering So Me digital content pieces or implementing on-course branding.

• Manage a team of on-site staff, giving full briefings of activities.

• Produce yearly evaluations of our partnerships and prepare debrief reports.

• Identifying potential partnerships and opportunities to enhance existing sponsorships.

This is who you are:
You bring excellent written and verbal communication skills and a persuasive approach to the position to succeed. Additionally, you demonstrate strong interpersonal and relationship management abilities, great attention to detail, and well-developed organizational skills. Your professional and friendly demeanor makes you comfortable interacting with prospective partners. You also have valuable experience managing budgets and negotiating with partners, vendors, and suppliers.
You excel at delegating tasks effectively, as well as in problem-solving and decision-making. With strong multitasking and strategic thinking abilities, you manage responsibilities efficiently. Your networking skills enable you to build valuable professional connections while maintaining a client-first approach to foster long-term relationships.

• Min. of 3 years experience in similar or related position(s).

• Travel availability for min. of 6 weeks/year

• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

• Valid work permit for Sweden

• Based in Gothenburg, Sweden.
