To support and extend our Product Management team in Switzerland we are looking for a highly motivated and team-oriented personality.
Your main tasks will be

• Use your scientific knowledge to develop and validate applications for our entire product portfolio, simplifying workflows for lab professionals
• Support the sales team globally in optimizing liquid handling processes for customers
• Highlight how our products increase productivity of laboratories by writing application notes
• Translate science into innovative product improvements in key applications for the product management and R&D team
• Design and run experiments autonomously to validate applications in our laboratory
• Guide and supervise lab specialists in planning experiments, analyzing results and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Train the sales team about common applications and exchange information about new liquid handling processes or market trends
• Run a molecular biology laboratory for key applications like nucleic acid extraction, PCR setup and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS)

What we expect from you

• MSc in Life Sciences
• 2-3 years laboratory experience in applications including molecular biology, preferably NGS
• A self-confident and motivated personality which is paired with social skills
• Excellent organizational skills, the ability to balance multiple projects and to set priorities
• Strong verbal and written communications skills in English and German
• Requires a maximum 15% overnight travel
