For our client a major bank in Zurich we are seeking for a IT Security Specialist.

Please note that due to applicable Swiss legislation, we can only consider applications from Swiss citizens, EU citizens, and individuals with a valid work permit.

Remote work from abroad is not possible.

Task

• Triage of vulnerabilities, in the context of existing security measures
• Support application teams in the mitigation process of vulnerabilities through consultation, and coordination of technical discussions
• Create, refine and implement hardening configuration requirements for various technologies
• Maintain tools to measure and report the effectiveness of hardening configurations
• Work with internal stakeholders to continuously improve the process and tooling for vulnerability management and system hardening configurations

Requirements

• Broad technical understanding of operating system-, application- and networks security
• Higher professional education (Swiss Federal Diploma or higher education) or comparable certification (CISSP, CEH, CISM) with relevant practical knowledge is desired
• Proven understanding of information security principles, vulnerability assessment methods, and related technologies
• Willingness and ability to continuously learn new skills
• Fluent in spoken and written German and English language

• Good understanding of system hardening best practices
• Excellent planning and coordination skills, well structured and reliable
• Team player, strong collaborator with the ability to take ownership
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
