Linux and Openshift Engineer

Location: Switzerland
Responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux systems and related infrastructure, including storage, hardware, and virtualization.
- Provision and support infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) principles.
- Collaborate on the conception and implementation of projects, as well as the continuous improvement of existing infrastructure.
- Provide second-level support within the support organization, including on-call duties.
- Interact with and support containerized applications running on Podman/Docker and Open Shift.
- Certification or education in IT System Administration, System Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience as a Linux Administrator and Open Shift Administrator.
- Proficient in Open Shift, OLM (Operators), Helm, Argo CD, Git Lab, Ansible, Ansible Automation, Satellite, IDM, and RHEL-based Linux distributions.
- Familiarity with VMware v Center/ESXi, Grafana/Prometheus, ELK, Python, and Go is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a hands-on mentality.
- High work ethic, integrity, and accountability, along with a willingness to take responsibility.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in German, Spanish, or Portuguese is a plus.
