About the job
We are looking for a Community Relations and Permit Manager (CRP Manager) for our Project Rui-Li 1. You will responsible for leading the strategic approach to stakeholder engagement, permitting, and regulatory compliance. This role involves managing the CRP team and ensuring that all deliverables, particularly those for the bid book, are produced on time and meet the required quality standards.Project information IX Renewables has a strong presence in the Taiwan offshore wind market. From our office in Taipei, we are working on the development of several offshore wind farms. One of these projects concerns the development of a floating offshore wind farm. The project is in bidding stage and is expected to be commissioned in 2030.
Responsibilities and tasks:
The CRP Manager reports directly to the Project Director in the project, providing regular updates and reports on the status of community relations, permitting, regulatory compliance, and bid book contributions. The CRP Manager works closely with other departments, particularly the technical and commercial teams, to ensure that CRP strategies and activities are fully integrated into the project’s overall objectives. Your responsibilities include:-
Strategic Leaderschip: Develop and implement the strategic approach for community relations, permitting, and regulatory compliance. Ensure alignment with overall project goals and government requirements.

Bid Book Preparation: Ensure that all CRP-related deliverables for the bid book are produced with the highest quality, accuracy, and timeliness. This includes ensuring compliance with government language requirements and conveying the right message.

Government Relations: Strategically manage relationships with government authorities at local, regional, and national levels to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and project goals. Lead efforts to obtain government support for the project, including securing necessary permits and approvals. Ensure that government relations are maintained to facilitate smooth project progression.

Stakeholder Engagement: Oversee the development and maintenance of positive relationships with local communities and other stakeholders. Lead efforts to engage stakeholders through community meetings, public consultations, and other outreach activities, ensuring that their concerns and expectations are understood and addressed.

Permitting and Regulatory Compliance: Strategically oversee the process of obtaining all necessary permits and approvals, ensuring the project complies with local, regional, and national regulations.

Public Relations and Communication: Manage project-related communications, including media relations, public announcements, and responses to public inquiries. Ensure that messaging is consistent and aligns with strategic objectives.
About you

A Master degree in a relevant field of study.

Experience or knowledge in project development in the renewables industry.

Experience or knowledge in the legislative process or regulatory authority, for example as a congressional assistant or public service department experience will be preferred.

A strategic and creative thinker that can quickly understand and analyses complex challenges.

Demonstrate a deep understanding of social/political/economic issues relevant to local stakeholders.

A professional communicator, this role will include interfacing with the local community, media, and other external audiences.

Manage meetings, stakeholders, communications for a fast-paced project in highly organized and efficient manner.

Superior writing skills and verbal skills in Mandarin and good command of the English language in words and writing.
