Become part of Hempel’s growing & diverse Finance team. We are looking for a new colleague for the role of Account Assistant, who will be passionate about handling tax compliance and financial accounting.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional with disabilities who possess a can-do attitude, proficiencies, and skills to perform this full-time role.
Reporting to our Area Finance Manager, you will have the outstanding opportunity to agree with a truly exciting team, at our Hempel’s offices located in Turkey – Istanbul.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparing list, managing, and following up of closing import/export declarations and e-invoices,
- Scanning documents and forward to GBS and relevant collaborators for further processing,
- Assisting on VAT refund preparation and application.
Providing support to the accountant with a range of financial tasks.
This role is for you, registered with the İŞKUR and having a disability level of at least 40% and above.
What we would like you to bring to the role
- Academic background in business administration, accounting, or any other related field preferably with valuable experience in similar positions,
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Ability to communicate clearly and consistently in Turkish and preferably in English as well,
- Knowledge and experience on local VAT and taxes would be advantage.
