About the Role:

We are looking for a Statutory Accounting & Reporting Specialist to manage financial statement closures, General Ledger accounting, Stock Valuation, Cost Accounting, and Fixed Asset Accounting. This role is crucial for achieving our business objectives efficiently, securely, and on time.
Based in İstanbul, you will collaborate with our Senior Statutory Accounting Specialist.

Main Responsibilities:

Financial Statement Closure and General Ledger Accounting

• Execute period-end closing operations
• Oversee and maintain the general ledger and related interfaces to ensure data integrity and completeness for company reporting
• Ensure reconciliations are performed consistently and in accordance with procedures
• Manage statutory accounting transactions to comply with Turkish Uniform Accounting Principles
• Coordinate with the tax advisory company

Stock Valuation & Cost Accounting

• Conduct monthly cost accounting activities, including calculations and postings
• Assist with period-end closing activities, including ledger and sub-ledger reconciliations
• Prepare month-end cost reports

Fixed Asset Accounting

• Handle fixed asset activities in SAP AA

Who we are looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Preferably a minimum of 4 years of experience
• Enthusiastic about finding creative solutions to challenges
• Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple tasks
• Knowledge of SAP-FI and IFRS is a plus
• Fluency both in Turkish and English
