We are seeking a highly motivated commercial leader to join our Go-to-Market Capabilities (GTMC) team as Head of Business Insights & Analytics for Eurasia Region, covering Turkey, Russia & Levant countries. The ideal candidate will play an important role in close business partnering and continuous collaboration with Commerical teams including Sales & Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain departments. This position will report to International Head of Business Insights & Analytics and will have direct reports both in Turkey & Russia.
As part of GTMC (Go-to-Market Capabilities), the vision of the Insights & Analytics pillar is the definition of Sanofi-wide best-in-class processes and strategies for the enablement of impactful business decisions by bringining actionable, data driven insights and analyses that benefit our stakeholders and patients. This includes developing effective and efficient processes, leveraging standardization and best practices across markets and brands.
Key dimensions - Scope & Scale:
GTMC organization aims for:
- Centralization of Go-to-Market excellence and operational tasks across GBUs,
- Standardizing best-in-class capabilities with strengthened global support while verticalization of reporting within GTMC from local to global,
- Defining clear ways of working and bringing clarity on interfaces with GBUs, Digital, and executional support on commercial operations from Sanofi hubs to optimize process excellence and efficiency and leveraging best, and
As a leadership team member of International Insights & Analytics organization, : Head of Insights & Analytics Eurasia will be accountable to:
- Partner with marketing, finance, etc. to deliver actionable and impactful business insights
- Drive the deployment of standardized methodologies, tools and processes while actively working with local teams to maximize benefit
- Leverage and integrate hub model to deliver streamlined and effective analyses and insights
- Work closely with other pillars to deliver a clear and consistent vision and strategy that is fully connected across the entirety of GTMC avoiding the creation of siloed operational functions
- Ensure the best service level for the GBU’s locally, maintaining close contact with the local business leaders, being in the field when required.
- Take agile decisions, ensuring customer centric approach and external perspective and taking the necessary thoughtful risks to balance the maximum satisfaction of our customers with the value added to Sanofi.
- Have One Sanofi approach, boosting the use of global tools and solutions, eliminating any fragmentation of our ecosystem, fostering the delivery of global and standard solutions, avoiding exceptions, but making sure that the specific and relevant needs of all GBUs are attended.
- Work closely with BU’s, Digital, Procurement and the leaders of other GTMC pillars’ local leaders, aligning priorities and acting always under One Sanofi spirit to deliver best-in-class and best-in-cost support to our businesses.
- Lead transformation in the ways of working locally.
Main responsibilities:
- Implementation of Insights & Analytics strategy based on product and market prioritization.
- Adhere to standardized processes, methodologies, tools and solutions to enable insights and analytics including market research, competitive intelligence, forecasting, monitoring, optimization (including leveraging advanced analytical modeling), etc.
- Enablement and support of verticalized data management processes in partnership with data management, finance and other business partners.
- Delivery of best-in-class and/or best-in-cost support based on organizational vision and product segment prioritization.
- Delivery of impactful analyses to optimize business (resource allocation) and deliver best-in-class and/or best-in-cost support based on overall business prioritization.
- Championing and enabling the scaling of contemporary and future technology and innovation including AI and Gen AI.
- Accomplishment of financial budget requirements and targets.

- You will foster partnerships and close collaboration between local cross-functional teams (i.e. Marketing, Medical, Digital, Procurement, and Finance) and with the other pillars of GTMC, and drive structured ways of working among teams to provide maximum value and efficiency to business teams, field forces, and our external customers.
- You will ensure setting up lean but effective high performing teams and efficient and agile local governance.
- You will build and develop a team that uses complementary strengths and develop dedicated, strong, diverse and inspiring leaders that lead by example and walk-the-talk.
- You will continuously work with GBU’s to deliver the value and insights expected from the Insights & Analytics GTMC pillar as true partner in enabling business growth, establishing one single voice locally, prioritizing the needs of all businesses and the point of view of cross-functional teams.
About you
Work Experience:
- Strong experience in Commercial Operations environment, especially in insights & analytics roles.
- Strong execution skills with proven delivery of outstanding results.
- Ability to lead change while achieving business goals and objectives, challenging continuously the status quo.
- Financial skills to lead the performance of responsibility perimeter.
- Ability to develop people, coach and give feedback.
- High persistency and resilience.
Knowledge:
- Functional expertise in relevant disciplines such as manipulating secondary market data to generate insights, KPI and dashboard management, managing market research, forecasting, advanced analytics, etc.
- Strategic analysis and planning, project management, excellent English & Turkish language knowledge and skills (written and oral), IT knowledge and skills, proven communication, presentation, persuasion, skills ability to work cross-functionally.
- Experience in having deployed transformational GTM solutions.
