• Analytical support for customers in Turkey. Clarification, planning, execution and reporting of sample investigations
• Management of the analytical laboratories in Istanbul and Izmir, coordinating of the teams leading them to a high professional performance
• Management of the laboratory equipment, supply with reagents and consumables, supervision of chemical inventory, CAPEX and OPEX budget planning, local and ww reporting
• Implementation of projects to improve efficiency in the laboratories also regarding cost optimization
• Quality Management: application, maintenance and further development of the applied quality management systems - ISO 9001 and other. Conduction of local management reviews, organization and conduction of internal ISO audits. Participation in external ISO audits as QMR (Quality Management Representative)
• HES: Promote and maintain a safety culture. Ensure occupational safety in the laboratory. Coordinate with regulatory agencies and ensure timely reporting and compliance with permits and regulations

• University degree in chemistry or chemical engineering
• Professional experience appropriate for this role in analytical chemistry and analytical work as well as experience in management
• Resilient and collaborative leadership personality with strong emotional intelligence, and experience leading employees and teams with varying levels of experience and seniority
• Excellent practical and theoretical knowledge in instrumental analytics such as titration, AAS, HPLC-UV, photometry, TOC and physical tests
• Very good knowledge of the ISO 9001 quality management system; experience in conducting management reviews and internal audits
• Very good command of written and spoken English and Turkish
• Presentation skills and strong communication skills

• Master’s degree desired
