Bricklaying Apprentice

As a Bricklaying Apprentice, you will receive hands-on training in bricklaying and masonry work. Under the supervision of experienced professionals, you will learn the skills required to become a fully qualified bricklayer. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain industry experience, learn valuable trade skills, and build a long-term career in construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist qualified bricklayers with bricklaying, blockwork, and masonry tasks.
- Learn how to mix and apply mortar, set bricks, and create precise walls and structures.
- Use a variety of tools and equipment to complete tasks safely and accurately.
- Prepare building materials and work areas before and after bricklaying tasks.
- Follow safety protocols and work in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite.
- Take part in training sessions and gain exposure to various construction techniques and practices.
- Qualifications: No prior experience required, although some familiarity with construction or manual work is a plus.
- Skills: A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions.
- Personal Traits: Physically fit, reliable, and eager to learn. A good attitude and willingness to work as part of a team are essential.
- Additional Requirements: Willingness to undergo formal training and study towards a qualification in bricklaying or construction.

Pay: £13,000.00 per year
