Safe Child Thailand
Charity Administrator
PART TIME

Hours: Part-time, 15 hours (2 days) per week
Length of Contract: One-year fixed term contract (subject to completion of 2-month probationary period)

Main purpose of role
Safe Child Thailand is a small yet effective charity with a dynamic and responsive team. The Fundraising team has ambitious financial targets for the next three years from a range of sources. This role will provide responsive administrative support by stewarding a portfolio of donors and supporters and providing essential charity administration.
You will work closely with the Senior Partnership and Development Officer to support the retention of existing donors and increase giving levels through stewardship and campaign opportunities. Furthermore, you will support the administrative function of the charity by overseeing subscriptions, maintaining the CRM database, providing book-keeping support and administering day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage the charity’s mail-forwarding service by receiving, opening and processing mail.
- Cash/bank donations received by post via online app or in person at the Post Office
- Write timely acknowledgements and thank-you letters and/or emails to donors.
- Enter donor and donation data into our Salesforce CRM system in a thorough and timely manner.
- Log donor Gift Aid declarations onto the CRM and ensure declarations are up-to-date and kept in accordance with GDPR.
- Support the preparation and delivery of communications to regular givers, including child sponsorship updates.
- Manage the info@ inbox and process responses and/or forward enquiries to the relevant team member.
- Support the management of Legacy administration, liaising with solicitors regarding legacy gifts to the charity.
- Manage the charity’s subscriptions and services including our accounts with Royal Mail, printing and press services, storage and data management companies etc.
- Ensure donor satisfaction by implementation of the donor journey from engagement through to retention.
- Work closely with the team to support the development, production and distribution of SCT’s annual newsletter and quarterly appeals to existing donors.
- Work closely with the team to develop e-mail campaigns to improve donor retention and increase giving levels.
- Oversee the charity’s social media pages (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter) and prepare weekly posts guided by current events, charity impact and seasonal communications
- Provide ad-hoc administrative support to the team in response to campaign or projects as they arise.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualification requirements: A-Level or equivalent
- Experience in office administration (preferably in the charity sector)
- Experience in data entry, particularly using a CRM database (Salesforce or equivalent)
- Strong and confident writing skills and an excellent eye for detail
- Experience of working with external suppliers and managing accounts with service providers
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- High level of numeracy and ability to input donation data accurately
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and Power Point
- Good coordination/multi-tasking skills and an ability to take on ad-hoc tasks in a responsive and positive way
- Confident in working from home, showing resourcefulness and the ability to manage own workload
- Experience in using social media platforms
- Understanding and commitment to the long-term vision of the charity
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £22,260.00-£23,150.00 per year
Expected hours: 15 per week
