Christmas General Operative (Food Production)

Based at our production facility at Inverurie this role involves producing/ manufacturing Added Value products to the Donald Russell standard. Full training and PPE will be provided.
Working hours are Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 6am - 2pm. You must therefore be able to reliably commute to Inverurie to start at this time. Some overtime should be expected, which will involve afternoon/weekend working.
This will be a fixed term contract from early October 2024 until late December 2024.
The Duties:
- Operating machinery used during the manufacturing process
- Counting, moving, lifting and stacking products
- Ability to understand and adhere to traceability procedures
- Maintaining good housekeeping and ensuring all personal equipment is kept in good condition and work areas are kept clean and tidy
- Maintaining quality and hygiene standards
- Previous experience within a food dispatch environment would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided
- Ability to follow written procedures
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Able to work as part of a team, but also on own initiative
Pay: £11.66 per hour
