I'm currently looking for a talented individual to join our team at Carfraemill Hotel as a Duty Manager on a full-time basis.
As the Duty Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel and ensuring that our guests have a memorable experience during their stay. Your responsibilities will include managing the front desk, coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance staff, handling guest inquiries and complaints, and ensuring that all departments are working together seamlessly to provide exceptional service.
Located in the picturesque Scottish Borders, Carfraemill Hotel is a charming country hotel that prides itself on offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere to all our guests. Our address is Carfraemill Lauder Scottish Borders Scotland United Kingdom TD2, and we are known for our comfortable accommodations, delicious food, and top-notch customer service.
To be successful in this role, you must have previous experience in the hospitality industry, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences. You should be able to multitask effectively, work well under pressure, and have a keen eye for detail. A strong knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk procedures and housekeeping standards, is also essential.
In addition to your day-to-day duties, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the hotel's management team to help drive business growth, implement new initiatives, and continuously improve the guest experience. Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
