We are seeking an experienced and qualified florist to join our team on a part-time basis, who can work independently and well under pressure. The role calls for a combination of passion, creativity, flexibility, teamwork, interpersonal skills, organisation and planning, attention to detail, and staying calm under pressure. We would also require you to deliver of our orders as well, when required.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Create stunning floral arrangements, bouquets, and centrepieces
• Assist customers in selecting the perfect flowers for special occasions
• Provide expert advice on floral arrangements, colour schemes, and flower varieties
• Preparation of vases, materials and equipment in the workroom.

· Conditioning and preparation of flowers in the workroom
· Tidying up and removal of waste.

• Maintain the freshness and quality of flowers by monitoring and maintaining proper storage conditions

· Loading and unloading of vans

• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of bouquets to customers, requiring driving responsibilities
• Participate in inventory management.
• Prepare and package bouquets and arrangements for customer orders.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure the smooth operation of the floral department.

· Taking customer orders via shop and telephone in a professional manner on our order/payment system.
· Comply with all company policies and procedures at all times

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Prior experience and a strong foundation in floral design
• Relevant qualifications and certifications in floristry.
• Knowledge of different flower varieties, their seasonal availability, and care requirements
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Strong attention to detail and ability to plan ahead and be organised
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid UK driver's license and clean driving record for delivery duties
• Physical ability to lift and carry floral arrangements and supplies
• Computer literate, basic IT Skills required.
• Good oral and written communicator in English
