Venus Wine and Spirit Merchants Plc is a well-established and respected UK-based distributor of premium wines and spirits, owned by Booker since June 2024. We have our headquarters in Tottenham N17, a distribution depot in Leeds, Bristol, and Gerry's in Soho London - one of the country's most famous spirits shops.
Key Responsibilities:

• Pick and process orders from a given pick list
• Ensure orders are accurate
• Stack items correctly for delivery
• Operate handling equipment and ensure safety regulations are followed
• Carry out stock replenishments
• Ensure warehouse goals are met
• Maintain a high level of health and safety standards
• Shrink wrap products to pallets
• Perform other general warehouse duties as needed
• Shifts are 10am-7pm or 12pm-9pm

Skills and Qualifications:

• Preferably previous experience working in a warehouse
• Attention to detail
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Experience handling of electric pump trucks
• Positive attitude
• Self-Motivated; active
• Safety conscious
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills; good spoken and written English
• Ability to work well both in a team and alone
