Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a crucial role in patient care by performing venipuncture procedures to collect blood specimens for laboratory testing. Your attention to detail, empathy, and strong communication skills will be essential in ensuring a positive patient experience and accurate specimen collection.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture procedures to collect blood specimens for laboratory testing, ensuring accuracy and patient comfort.
• Prepare and maintain phlebotomy equipment and supplies.
• Accurately label and process blood specimens according to established protocols.
• Adhere to strict infection control and safety guidelines.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and respect for privacy.
• Assist with other clinical duties as assigned.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Phlebotomist in a GP surgery setting.
• Excellent venipuncture skills and a high success rate.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Current Phlebotomy certification (preferred).

Additional Skills (Desirable):

• Experience with pediatric and geriatric patients.
• Knowledge of laboratory procedures and testing.
