As PR Executive at Telford International Centre, you will capture the product, service and people of the venue in PR, communications, photography and videography form such that content can be created and published for the media, online platforms, the venue website and other promotional forms.
You will be joining a large venue in an exciting events industry at Visit England’s Business Events Venue of the Year 2024, so if this sounds like you and the sector appeals, we’d like to hear from you!
This is a 12 month fixed term contract position, 40 hours per week working 5 out of 7 days (including frequent weekends) to cover the needs of the business event diary. This role is primarily based on site at Telford International Centre, along with destination off site travel for content shoots.
What you will be doing…

• Managing correct brand voice through media, online platforms, website and other promotional forms.
• Accountability for intelligent and accessible filing of photo and video resources.
• Lead authority for content production.
• Ensuring you stay current with ever moving popularity and use of social media channels.

What skills you need…

• High attention to detail including good use of grammar and spelling
• Creative flair and ability to generate unique ideas
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Photo and video production skills and experience
• Knowledge or experience of software packages used for content creation/upload
• Excellent knowledge of social media, ideally gained through business and work purposes
• Excellent listener and communicator, also able to put people at ease to create the best content
• Personable, able to maintain working relationships at all levels of the Organisation and with clients, suppliers and visitors
• A self-starter, able to prioritise workload according to urgency and deadline
• A team player, able to work effectively with the TIC sales team and with wider Group colleagues
