Full job description
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team. This would be a full-time position. The lettings property manager will manage a portfolio of properties within our residential lettings department based in Evesham.
The role will be based predominantly in our office, where we pride ourselves in providing a professional, but personal service to our landlords. The Lettings Property Manager will always represent the business values and is responsible for maintaining relationships with landlords and tenants.
You will have a busy and varied role to include:

• General administration
• Organising safety certificates
• Logging maintenance issues from tenants
• Liaising with landlords & contractors to obtain quotes and effect repairs
• Working with contractors, as well as overseeing bigger works to get agreed works done on time
• Ensuring properties are safe and legally compliant
• Carrying out routine property visits
• Preparing properties for move-in, including inventories
• Handling tenants vacating the property and move-out inspections
• Negotiating the return deposits at the end of tenancy

Previous experience in property management would be preferred and the salary will be based on experience however we are happy to provide training to achieve ARLA qualifications to the right candidate who has an interest within the property sector.
Essential skills required for the role are:

• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to property management
• A working knowledge of residential properties, fixtures, fittings and utilities
• Very organised (compliance paperwork and documentation)
• An attention for detail and able to work alone
• Problem solver with a common-sense approach
• Strong communicator and negotiator
• Microsoft IT skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point)
• A full driving license

Preferred skills

• Professional qualification in property management or lettings
• Proficiency in property management software

Job Type: Permanent
Pay: £24,500.00-£27,500.00 per year

Schedule:

• 37.5 hours per week
• Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm
• 3x Saturdays 9.30am to 2.00pm. You will be allocated a half day off within the working week in lieu.
