The Role
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will ensure the Type 31 Frigate quality and governance objectives are achieved, as well as supporting quality initiatives across the project.

Day to day, you’ll develop and maintain QA procedures and processes whilst supporting the wider T31 project team.

• Carry out internal and supplier audits in accordance with the T31 audit schedule
• Carry out detailed quality investigations
• Analyse data and trends to indentify risks and opportunities
• Provide analysis and reports of performance related data
• Attend quality meetings and forums

This role is full time and based onsite at Rosyth.

Experience required of the Quality Assurance Engineer

• An excellent knowledge of the fundamentals of quality assurance
• Ability to read an interpret quality requirements within contracts and technical documentation
• Experience within a process or compliance based environment
• Great communication and report writing skills

Qualifications required for the Quality Assurance Engineer

• Qualified to a recognised trade standard / academic level (HNC/SVQ)
• Lead / Internal Auditor qualification preferred
