Hi, we are currently recruiting on behalf of a law firm based in Loughton, who are seeking a residential conveyancing solicitor to join their expanding team. It’s a great opportunity to work with some of the best in the field - as well as great development opportunities.

Qualifications

• To be qualified and eligible to practice as a Solicitor or Legal Executive in England and Wales.
• At least 1 year PQE in residential property.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and handle several property transactions concurrently, which encompass sales, purchases, equity transfers, and remortgages. Assure the seamless and effective advancement of each transaction.
• Offer clear and understandable legal advice to clients regarding property transactions. Communicate complex legal concepts in a manner that clients can comprehend.
• Craft and assess legal documents, including contracts, leases, and mortgage agreements, ensuring precision and compliance with applicable laws and statutes.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in property transactions to facilitate a seamless process.
• Perform thorough property searches, encompassing land registry examinations, local authority inquiries, and environmental assessments, to uncover potential property-related concerns.
• Manage and resolve any legal disputes or issues that may arise during the conveyancing process. Advocate on behalf of clients when necessary.
• Ensure adherence to relevant legal and regulatory responsibilities, which encompass regulations related to anti-money laundering and data protection.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Hold a valid practicing certificate and relevant experience in conveyancing.
• Pay great attention to detail and possess strong analytical skills to identify risks and resolve legal issues effectively.
• Possess a strong understanding of property law, conveyancing processes, and relevant legislation.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and explain legal concepts clearly.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple property transactions simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Possess strong negotiation skills and the ability to navigate complex property transactions and resolve disputes.
• Be proficient in using relevant legal software and technology for case management and document drafting.
• Have the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
