Third Party Risk Analyst – Risk

About the role
The first line Enterprise Risk team is responsible for driving the risk and control agenda across AXA Health. You'll support the Head of Controls and Third Party to deliver the newly refined third party risk framework, deepening the capability of AXA Health to understand and manage third party and resilience risks, whilst maintaining a strong and pervasive focus on positive business and customer outcomes.You'll support oversight of third parties to ensure conduct and operational risks are managed. This will include delivering audits and deep dives in line with third party risk frameworks and assurance models, highlighting improvements for third party oversight processes and controls, analysing key management information (MI) and reporting findings to help AXA Health meet business strategy and regulatory obligations.

What you'll be doing:
- Work with relationship managers, AXA UK and business subject matter experts to deliver assurance audits and deep dives to ensure accountability and regulatory requirements and internal frameworks are adhered to.
- Provide responsive and agile support to AXA Health's Executive Committee on emerging risks, areas of concern and new third party strategic relationships.
- Collate and analyse MI, creating reporting for internal governance meetings to give a view of third party risk, drawing out actionable insight.
- Continuously improve procedures, controls, monitoring, reporting, tooling and governance processes. Create and maintain consistent effective and efficient assurance protocols and testing programmes.
- Oversight and analysis of third party issues and incidents, including root cause analysis to assess systemic issues. Support with high rated risk incidents and analysis of trends in KRIs or incident themes. Provide recommendations for remediation approaches and enhancements to the processes and controls of AXA Health.
- Form strong stakeholder relationships across the business, to ensure consistent understanding of third party risk, control and conduct related matters and engage across the three lines of defence.
About you
What we’re looking for:- Experience in undertaking risk-based assurance audits, ideally in relation to third parties.
- Understanding of relevant insurance/healthcare regulation and supervisory expectations for large complex financial institutions and/or clinical providers would be an advantage, particularly in relation to operational resilience or clinical risk.
- Proven stakeholder management and influencing skills. Ability to engage business teams on the value of assurance activity and influence buy-in of proposed solutions to issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, and in particular ability to create key reporting.
- Commercial and pragmatic outlook, able to work at pace, respond quickly to change and remain delivery focussed.
- Proactive with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to prioritise competing interests and be able to handle complexity and ambiguity.
