Job Description:
An Artificial Intelligence (AI) practitioner with hands-on experience and the ability to lead teams. With background and experience across a variety of techniques from statistics to ML to LLMs, you lead teams in the selection and execution of these solutions to meet client objectives. Your passion for AI is equal to your commitment to driving data-led solutions for national security bringing direct experience from working with the Department of Defense (Do D) and Intelligence Community to deliver AI at production scale. You're up to date on the latest federal innovations in data and AI and Do D strategic initiatives to achieve world-class data capabilities within federal security and policy constraints. You constantly scan the technology industry to help clients take advantage of new tools and methods from commercial, government, and open source and have crafted expertise to differentiate meaningful solutions from the hype cycle.
Responsibilities:

Lead AI projects responsible for managing junior FTE, coordinating tasking and production for on-time, quality deliverables
Manages communications and relationship with clients to over-deliver and identify growth opportunities
Serves as evangelist for data science, analytics, and AI capabilities to clients and internal AFS teams / stakeholders
Contributes to growth activities including proposals, demo / prototype development, offering development, and points of view
Builds communities across client teams to up-skill junior analysts, foster collaboration and create brand and identity for data scientists

Here's what you need:

Bachelor's or Masters' degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, IT Systems, or a related technical or quantitative field
Minimum 10 years or more of demonstrated leadership within technology-driven federal organizations with at least four years leading organizations leveraging AI analytic systems (e.g. machine learning, big data analysis), with demonstration of exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills
Minimum Five years or more of hands-on experience establishing, building or contributing to complex data science programs
Strong communications skills with background executing writing, briefings, presentations and trainings to senior government officials or equivalent
Experience and continued interest working with Defense and Intelligence clients.
Secret level clearance or higher

Bonus points if you have:

Ph.D. preferred, but not required
Top Secret/SCI clearance

Security Clearance:

Active Secret clearance required to start
