We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for the role of a Customer Service Representative in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by understanding, anticipating, and promptly responding to customer needs. This includes handling customer inquiries, maintaining customer records, and promoting the company's products and services.

Responsibilities:

• Managing customer interactions through various channels including phone and email
• Processing customer inquiries, purchase orders, and quotation requests efficiently and promptly
• Actively promoting the company’s products and services and soliciting new orders
• Ensuring accurate and complete order entry using the company's systems
• Maintaining a comprehensive and organized record of all customer-related communication
• Coordinating with technical specialists to resolve technical issues when necessary
• Participating in the company's quality management system to ensure the highest standards of customer service
• Ensuring customer problems and concerns are resolved through appropriate actions
• Gathering and coordinating information required to enter complete and accurate production orders
• Adhering to the company's safety program requirements and performing other related duties as assigned.
• Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Experience in answering inbound and outbound calls
• Proven customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment
• Ability to perform data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency
• Proficiency in using email for professional correspondence
• Experience in order entry processes and systems
• Ability to schedule appointments in an organized and timely manner
• Familiarity with Google Suite and its applications
• Basic math skills for handling customer transactions
• Experience in operating fax machines and multi-line phone systems
• Ability to handle email communications effectively and professionally.
