We are offering an opportunity for a Mailroom Assistant to join our team in the Financial Services industry, located in Plano, Texas, 75024, United States. As a Mailroom Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our mailroom services, including handling packages, performing data entry tasks, and supporting wire transfer processes.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the creation of UPS labels and ensure the accurate shipping of packages.
• Conduct data entry tasks diligently, ensuring all information is accurately recorded.
• Take responsibility for entering and approving wire transfers, following all relevant procedures and regulations.
• Oversee the scanning and organization of incoming mail, ensuring all items are correctly logged and distributed.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing and resolving any customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Assist in courier services and deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of packages.
• Maintain customer credit records, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently, providing timely feedback to customers.
• Proficiency in courier services, with ability to handle incoming and outgoing mail efficiently
• Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on delivering prompt and friendly service
• Experience in data entry tasks, with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Previous experience in deliveries, with knowledge of best practices in delivery logistics
• Must possess basic computer skills for record keeping and communication
• Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with all levels of staff
• Strong organizational skills for maintaining a clean and orderly mailroom
• Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds
• Must adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding mail handling
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays if needed
• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification is required.
