Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed financial analysis related to inventory management, including stock levels, turnover rates, cost of goods sold (COGS), and inventory valuation.
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure accurate and timely inventory forecasts, reconciliations, and adjustments.
• Assist with financial forecasts based on sales projections, historical data, and market trends.
• Support budget preparation and variance analysis.
• Assist in the development and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) for the organization and distribute to results to management.
• Provide insights and recommendations for optimization and cost reduction strategies.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Support ad hoc financial projects and analyses as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within inventory management, supply chain, or manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, including cost accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proficiency with Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Experience with ERP systems and inventory management software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large sets of data.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with inventory control processes and supply chain finance.
