The role
Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the finance function of I-MED's teleradiology business unit. This role will see you supporting month-end finance processes including preparation of reporting and analysis.
You will participate in the preparation of the business unit strategy and plan, providing financial information and provide support for budget and review processes.
You are a highly collaborative, self-motivated individual who can work autonomously and help us drive process improvements. You are commercially minded with strong attention to detail and will be able to apply whole business thinking and be adaptable in the way you work.
Key responsibilities

• Preparation of business unit financial reporting including month-end, general ledger, P&L, and balance sheet
• Involvement in planning, budgeting & review for the business unit
• Working with the Commercial Finance Manager on growth projects such as financial due diligence for acquisitions and new customer tender submissions
• Contribute to a positive and productive Finance and workplace team environment through effective communication, teamwork and establishing strong working relationships, with a specific emphasis on facilitating two-way communication.

The ideal candidate:

• Tertiary degree qualification in accounting/commerce
• Qualified or near qualified CA/CPA
• 1-2 years' experience in an accounting role
• 1-2 years' experience in use of finance/accounting systems
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel
