Join Our Team as a Clinical Nurse (TPPP) Facilitator
As a Clinical Nurse Facilitator, you'll play a vital role in delivering nursing services across diverse health service settings, advancing your expertise from competent to proficient through hands-on experience and further study. You'll provide invaluable face-to-face and virtual support to staff, including graduate nurses and midwives, fostering a culture of reflective, evidence-based practice improvement while encouraging collaboration and problem-solving.
In this dynamic role, you’ll take accountability for your own practice standards and oversee the development of less experienced staff, ensuring they receive the guidance they need to thrive. While the focus remains predominantly clinical, you’ll also have the opportunity to negotiate portfolio responsibilities that align with your career development plan.
As you support Nurse Educators, Nurse Unit Managers, and Nurse Managers, you'll contribute to the provision of education services and help shape the future of nursing. Join us in this rewarding position where your expertise will make a lasting impact on both your colleagues and the community!
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver proficient, person-centered clinical nursing and individual case management to patients in a designated clinical area.
- Regularly monitor patient care plans to ensure daily achievement of appropriate care outcomes.
- Oversee nursing care delivery within the team or unit.
- Assess clients and implement therapeutic interventions or support programs within pre-determined guidelines in a multidisciplinary primary health care setting.
- Assist the Nurse Unit Manager in management, clinical, and educational activities.
- Plan and coordinate services, including those from other disciplines.
- Address and resolve immediate nursing care or service delivery issues.
- Support processes of change management within the organization.
- Contribute to complex, organization-wide projects, such as developing clinical protocols, guidelines, and process mapping.
- Must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Registered Nurse with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience.
- Experienced in using computer software packages, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Demonstrated expertise in nursing practice, adhering to relevant standards of care.
- Proven experience in providing leadership and direction to student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses.
