Your opportunity

We have two Conservation Support Officer positions available. In these roles you will plan, organise and deliver quality conservation contract project management services in an efficient and effective manner in line with contract documentation, Service Level Agreements and budget limitations.

Guided by our Values , you will:
Effectively manage a variety of Conservation projects to ensure they are delivered in line with contract conditions/specifications, project time frames and budget limitations.

Effectively carry out a variety of project/contract planning and administration functions including developing project time frames/milestones, providing project status reports, processing invoices, and writing correspondence.

Ensure contractors comply with Council's policies, Workplace Health and Safety requirements, Environmental Protection requirements and other Statutory Requirements and to pro-actively address any non-compliance.

Actively participate and promote a co-operative team based approach within the Parks and Conservation unit to create an attractive, equitable, harmonious and productive workplace

Demonstrated success and abilities in effectively managing conservation projects in line with contract conditions/specifications, project times frames and budget limitations.

Demonstrated ability to undertake a variety of project planning and administration functions in a competent and effective manner, using a range of computer programs.

Demonstrated skills in researching and developing conservation technical specifications and to competently tender contracts in the market place.
