Your opportunity
We are looking for an Adviser Project and Program Management to support our Portfolio Management Office’s Centre of Excellence. This role provides expert guidance on best practices, tools, and methodologies to strengthen project and program outcomes across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include developing project management standards, offering strategic advice on project planning and delivery, and facilitating targeted training to enhance project management skills. You will also coach staff, share best practices, and build strong partnerships with stakeholders to promote a culture of continuous improvement.

We would love to hear from you or someone you know who has:
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of project and program management functions.
Demonstrated experience in project / program management and proven ability in providing quality advice to support project stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to research, design, develop and deliver training in a complex environment.
Well-developed relationship building, influencing, and oral and written communication skills to build and maintain positive working relationships.
Demonstrated experience in identifying and researching continuous improvement opportunities.

Eligibility

Desired
Formal training qualifications in project and program management and/or significant project or program management experience; including an understanding of project/program management methodologies, and their use in a Local/State/Federal government setting.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
