Your opportunity

We are looking for a dynamic leader to join our team, in a role that delivers strategic and tactical impact. Following a recent exciting group realignment, the Service Manager Strategic Partnerships and Advocacy will lead a small, experienced team within a positive, growth-oriented culture. This role will involve inspiring a high-performing team through accountability, collaboration and development, and foster strong relationships with internal and external partners to deliver collective outcomes.

The position will focus on building and managing key partnerships with public and private stakeholders to deliver economic and community benefits, while guiding high-level strategic projects and overseeing the Council's advocacy initiatives in alignment with Council’s strategic priorities.

Additionally, the Service Manager will lead an increased focus on strengthening the Redlands Coast reputation as a destination of choice for private and public sector investment, through building awareness and marketing the regions capabilities and opportunities.

We are seeking an experienced, solutions focused leader with exceptional skills in engagement, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building and managing high-performing teams, effective relationship management with diverse stakeholders, and creating strategic partnerships to deliver collective impact. They should have extensive experience in managing strategic projects, including budgeting and performance monitoring, and possess advanced communication skills for delivering reports, and presentations. Strong emphasis on stakeholder negotiation, opportunity awareness, and conflict resolution is essential.

Eligibility

You'll have a current Class C drivers licence.
