Your opportunity
Are you passionate about training and development, with a knack for creating impactful learning programs? We are seeking an Asset Management Learning Adviser to join our team and lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive Asset Management Training plan for the Council. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who thrives on designing tailored learning solutions and driving organizational capability uplift.
Guided by our Values , you will lead the design, development, and delivery of an Asset Management Training plan, initiatives, and programs across the Council by collaborating with the Council's Learning and Development team and external contacts to implement training packages. Provide advice and build effective working relationships with employees and managers to identify specific Asset Management learning needs and ensure capability enhancement. Work with internal and external stakeholders to set organizational Asset Management training objectives, aligning them with the Council's broader goals, and develop a training plan to achieve these objectives, incorporating learning theories, instructional design, content development, materials, resources, and delivery methods (including both in-house and externally coordinated options).

What you’ll bring

We would love to hear from you or someone you know who has considerable workplace experience in facilitating a variety of organizational learning and development programs, ideally within a large, multi-disciplinary organization. Your background includes experience in conducting training needs assessments and a strong record of success in researching, designing, developing, and analyzing various learning and development programs. Preferably, you have expertise in Asset Management, with technical knowledge of adult learning principles, best practice facilitation techniques, and group processes.
A sound understanding of Asset Management principles and experience with Asset Management software training (experience with Assetic is highly desirable) is essential. You have demonstrated skills in designing training packages tailored to different capability levels and audiences and a history of evaluating training performance to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Your well-developed relationship-building, influencing, and consultation skills enable you to gain the trust and respect of managers and employees alike. You possess excellent oral and written communication abilities, with the capacity to effectively engage with a diverse range of employees at all levels of the Council, whether in classroom settings, team environments, or one-on-one interactions.

You'll hold a c urrent C Class Drivers Licence
