Funding Administration Officer

- Write and implement procurement strategies and subsequent service agreements with non-government agencies, in collaboration with the Department's Financial Services Branch.
- Develop and maintain relationships with non-government organisations delivering services to victims of crime, with a particular focus on Victim Assist's funded services to ensure best practice in service delivery.
- Provide advice to the Victim Services Coordinator on issues relevant to the operations of services funded to deliver victim of crime services.
- Manage contracts and monitor service delivery of funded victim of crime services to ensure it aligns with Service Agreements.
- Assist with the preparation and assessment of grant applications from non-government; organisations and the preparation of recommendations in accordance with program objectives and the priorities of Victim Assist and the Queensland Government.
- Undertake project work relevant to the operations of Victim Assist.
- Prepare advice on a range of matters relevant to the programs funded by the Department and prepare reports, briefing notes and ministerial correspondence.
- Ability to manage the financial aspects of complex, high value funding arrangements.
- Completes workload within established timeframes and adjusts priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
- Demonstrates flexibility to changing expectations by proactively adapting workload to reflect new requirements.
- Ability to write concise, logical and grammatically correct analytical reports including correspondence and briefing materials.
- Builds rapport and establishes strong and mutually beneficial connections with a range of stakeholders in a culturally appropriate manner.
- Actively contributes to an innovative team that values continuous improvement and a collaborative culture focused on achievement of objectives within approved timeframes and budgets.
- Implements work systems that accurately report on the progress against objectives and outcomes.
- Ability to use relevant accounting and contract management programs.
